During the afternoon a number of innovators presented a variety of interventions aimed at improving health services for poor people.

On the morning of the second day the participants divided into three groups to explore the innovations in-depth and test the applicability of the framework. During the afternoon the participants discussed learning approaches to innovation and the kinds of support innovators would value to support their implementation.

The third day began with a presentation by Henry Lucas of new approaches to monitoring and evaluation and their applicability to health market system development followed by a discussion of their relevance to the innovators participating in the meeting. The workshop concluded with a discussion of how innovators, researchers and a variety of technical experts could collaborate in a learning approach for making health-related markets work better for the poor.
