Knowledge for action on equity in health in Uganda
Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 6:52PM Makerere University, School of Public Health and HEPS Uganda – Coalition for Health Promotion and Social Development organised this meeting which was held in Kamapala in March 2008.
The meeting aimed to assess the progress of equity in health in Uganda. It reviewed gaps and needs in the Ugandan health sector, to feed into and draw from experience in East and Southern Africa.
FHS presented two sessions at the conference.
1. Changes in Utilisation of Health Services among Poor and Rural Residents in Uganda (Elizabeth Ekirapa)
2. Access to and Utilisation of Health Services for the Poor and Vulnerable in Uganda: A systematic Review of Available evidence (Susanne Kiwanuka)
