Building the capacity of researchers and decision-makers in applying systems-thinking methods and approaches

FHS at HSR

Building the capacity of researchers and decision-makers in applying systems-thinking methods and approaches

  • Room 2.44-2.46, CTICC 1 Lower Long St Cape Town, WC, 8000 South Africa

We will capitalize on the experience of more than 100 people involved in the recent issue of Health Research Policy and Systems on applications of systems thinking in LMIC health systems to share their experience about what it takes to expand the applications of systems thinking more widely. A talk-show style engaging with the audience will be used covering the following questions: How did you go about building your capacity to use systems thinking? What does it take to build the capacity of implementers to do so? What gets in the way? Hardcopies of the issue will be available for all.
